Pomidorowa - Tomato Soup with Rice
Creamy Polish tomato soup, childhood favorite across Poland. Bright orange color, slightly tangy, served with rice or pasta. School cafeteria classic that everyone loves.

Ingredients
- 1 liter Tomato passata
- 2 medium Carrots
- 1 stalk Celery
- 200 ml Heavy cream
- 100 g Rice
- 1 liter Vegetable broth
Instructions
SautΓ© diced vegetables in butter 7 min.
Add garlic, cook 1 min.
Add passata and broth, simmer 20 min.
Blend until smooth.
Add cream, cooked rice, season.
Garnish with basil.

Pinch of sugar balances acidity. Can freeze without cream.
