Ryba po Grecku - Fish Greek Style
Polish interpretation of 'Greek style' fish - fried fish with sweet-sour vegetable sauce. Cold appetizer or main dish. Party classic.

Ingredients
- 800 g White fish fillets
- 4 large Carrots
- 200 g Celery root
- 2 medium Onions
- 3 tbsp Tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
Instructions
Fry seasoned fish, set aside.
Julienne vegetables, sauté until soft.
Add tomato paste, sugar, lemon juice, cook 15 min.
Layer fish with vegetable sauce.
Cool completely.
Serve cold with bread.
💡 Tips & Variations
Best made day ahead. Vegetables should be sweet-sour balance. Traditionally served cold. Use cod or hake.
